The room was spacious, quiet, and had a large bathroom and a balcony. Rewritten: the room here was really big and peaceful, it had a large bathroom and a balcony.

A wide array of food for breakfast, which was freshly made to satisfy everyone. We were given silent and exceptionally clean rooms with huge bed and terrace plus balcony.

Our studio was very well equipped and the free cabled internet access was a teriffic extra. The hotel had an excellent location in the heart of Funchal and was ideally placed for access to local buses necessary for our trips up to the levadas. Staff very very friendly and helpful.
Air conditioning in my room was not particularly effective however this was not a significant issue.

Great location. Apartment comfortable and clean. About 20 metres from a large supermarket and a great bakery which are very reasonably priced.
Although there was a reasonable choice of food for breakfast, we felt the amounts very limited and as the apartment was equipped with a toaster it was hardly worthwhile going down in the morning. Only received clean teatowel 3 days in the 7 day stay were left without anything for the rest of the stay. Do advise visitors to take their own dishcloth and washing up liquid.

Went to Funchal for the carnival and an absolute ideal location - almost next to the Municipal Gardens in the centre of town. Had a leak in the sink in my first room and staff quickly moved me to another room of the same quality, minus the view as 2 floors further down. Convenient for cafes/bars/restaurants and great shopping, handy to supermarkets - a large one in the Vine Hotel shopping mall and smaller one in the Marine Shopping complex on the foreshore, bakery also close by. Kitchen facilities convenient if you want to stay at hotel and cook a meal or get your own breakfast in. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
The office block across the road completely blocks the view on the lower floors so the further up you go, the better view you get (floor 4 and above the best). May be a good idea to supply cleaning up supplies for washing dishes - don't exactly want to go out buying scouring pads and washing up liquid and then have to leave it behind.

Great holiday stay! the location was amazing, so close to the Cathedral, and we were just a stone's throw away from the city center too. 🌟

Incredible location to largest shopping mall, very welcoming staff, everything was great. The place was reasonably priced. The studio suite I stayed in was impeccably clean and huge with balcony. A microwave, climate control and a personal safe in the room were useful.

The studio we stayed in was modern and charming, offering a balcony and fridge as promised, and the convenience of being a short walk from the Congress Center added to our enjoyable visit.

We liked the friendly helpful staff, the central position, which meant we could get anywhere we wished within minutes, and the ability to make our own simple meals. However there were lots of inexpensive places restaurants nearby offering good food. The hotel was also a comfortable place to spend "down time" after our long walks in the mountains..
It would have been nice to have had a small table on the balcony so we could have breakfast outside. The lighting could also be better. We moved the furniture in the room so that the armchairs were near the lights. Another lamp or light would have made the place more comfortable.
